About me
I have been working as a British Sign Language Interpreter since 2004 upon completion of the BA Hons BSL/English Interpreting at the University of Wolverhampton.
Understanding the need for professional supervision I completed the Diploma in Supervision with the first cohort of 360 Supervision and have been offering a supervision service via Sandwell Deaf Community Association since 2015.
In order to offer the best possible service to our clients it is imperative that we, as interpreters, look after our own well-being and as such I am delighted to be able to offer professional supervision. This dedicated time will give you the opportunity to reflect on your work in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment exploring not only practise issues but also the emotional toll of the work we undertake.
Based in the West Midlands for face to face sessions but I also offer remote supervision to those living and working further afield.
